Stephen LaBrooy becomes the 35th President of the DBU

Stephen LaBrooy was elected uncontested as the President of The Dutch Burgher Union, at its AGM held on 26th May, 2016. He is the 35th President of the Union, which was founded in 1908, and he takes over from Timothy Speldewinde who served a four-year term.

 

Timothy will continue to serve on the General Committee as it’s Deputy President, with the Secretary (David Colin-Thomé) and Treasurer (Dallas Martenstyn) remaining unchanged from last year.

 

The new faces on the General Committee this year are Chris Quyn and Shane Croner who are from the hospitality and banking industries respectively.

 

Among the Custodians, which was previously known as Ex-Officios, Anthea Muller makes way for former DBU President Nigel Austin.
